Ingredients for the Recipe

For the Chicken:

  • Boneless chicken breasts (2, sliced thinly)
  • Salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Black pepper (1 teaspoon)
  • Italian seasoning (1 teaspoon)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)

For the Pasta:

  • Fettuccine pasta (300g)
  • Water (for boiling)
  • Salt (1 tablespoon)

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • Butter (3 tablespoons)
  • Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • Heavy cream (1 ½ cups)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (1 cup)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Parsley (for garnish, optional)

How to Make Chicken Alfredo Pasta

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and the fettuccine pasta.
  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions (about 10-12 minutes) until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  • Season the chicken slices with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Step 4: Combine Everything

  • Add the cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Toss lightly to combine.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve

  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta!
